Frequently asked questions
Will my digital twin really look and sound like me?
Yes. It is built from a proper filming session of you, so it carries your face, your voice and your manner. How convincing it looks comes down to the quality of that source and the craft behind it, which is where my photography background does the heavy lifting.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. I set everything up and teach you how to use it in plain language. You leave able to make your own content, with no technical skills required.
Do I have to keep filming once my twin is made?
No. That is the whole point. We capture you once, then you create content from your twin without filming every week.
Is this ethical, or is it a deepfake?
It is your own likeness, made with your consent and controlled by you. That is the opposite of a deepfake. You own your twin and you decide exactly how it is used.
What does it cost to run?
You hold your own subscriptions to the video and voice tools your twin runs on, so it stays fully yours. That is currently around NZD $80 to $150 a month, separate from my fees. Full pricing is on the Services and Pricing page.
Can my whole team use it, or can you build a full content system?
Yes. I can train your marketing team to use it, and I can build a simple content system around your twin so creating and publishing content is easier. We work out what fits your business.
Is this the same as the digital twin used in engineering or healthcare?
No. In engineering, manufacturing and healthcare, a digital twin is a simulation of a physical system, like a virtual model of a machine or a patient. What I build is a video and content digital twin: an AI version of you, used to create marketing and communication content. Same term, different field.
Can a digital twin do long-form video, or just short clips?
Yes. Short clips are the most common use, but there is no length limit built into the technology. The same twin can carry a full multi-minute video, and I regularly build much longer pieces. See the 2-minute example on our Examples page. What changes at longer lengths is pacing and how the script is written, not anything about the twin itself.
